Ménage à Mahj LLC and Mississippi Mahj Club (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you visit our websites, register for classes, purchase event tickets or passes, use the Matchup platform, or participate in our referral program.

1. Information We Collect

Account and registration information. When you register for a class, purchase a pass, create a Matchup profile, or sign up for an event, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and any other details you choose to provide.

Payment information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. Stripe shares limited transaction data with us (such as the last four digits of your card, expiration date, and billing address) so we can confirm your purchase and issue refunds when applicable.

Referral contacts. If you participate in our referral program, you may provide the name and phone number of a friend who learned about Ménage à Mahj through you. These details are used strictly to verify that the referred person attended a beginner class and to award credit to the referring member.

Communications and support. When you email, text, or message us, we retain those communications to respond to your questions and improve our service.

Technical data. We may collect standard web data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited through our hosting and analytics providers. This data is used to keep our sites secure and improve user experience.

2. How We Use Information

  • Process event tickets, class registrations, pass subscriptions, and membership perks.
  • Send transactional updates such as booking confirmations, class reminders, pass renewal notices, and event changes.
  • Verify referral credits and award lifetime pass benefits after admin verification.
  • Maintain rosters, check in attendees, and manage waitlists for in-person events.
  • Respond to questions, provide customer support, and resolve disputes.
  • Improve our websites, classes, and events based on aggregate usage and feedback.

3. Privacy Guarantee

Your information — including referral contact details — is used strictly for account management, roster matching, class verification, and transactional communication. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for unsolicited marketing or independent outreach. We will not use a referral contact’s phone number for any purpose other than confirming class attendance and awarding credit to the referring member.

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments securely. Stripe’s use of your personal information is governed by its own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Stripe’s policies at stripe.com/privacy.

Ticket Tailor. We use Ticket Tailor to manage event listings, ticket sales, and class registrations. Information collected through Ticket Tailor is subject to Ticket Tailor’s terms and privacy practices.

Matchup. Matchup is a separate platform that hosts player profiles, game organization tools, and community features. When you use Matchup, you may be subject to Matchup’s own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical precautions to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant providers, and access to roster and account data is limited to authorized team members. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected to the best of our ability.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You may request to access, update, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at learn@menageamahj.com or play@msmahj.club. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations or legitimate business needs that require us to retain certain records.

You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or replying STOP to SMS messages where applicable.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.
